“Leslie teaches an alive, playful massage style
that gives permission to improvise and do things differently.
Her teaching is contact-full and interactive, quite attuned to the different needs of each participant, and draws on her many years
of experience as a massage therapist. A fun class. We are
excited about doing another one soon.”

Practitioner Certification Program

NEXT IPT PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM BEGINS DECEMBER 12!

This is no ordinary school! The Institute for Phenomenal Touch invites a new level of mastery. Come discover the nuances of massage that transform ordinary goodness into an extraordinary dance.

The Institute's Practitioner Certification Program enables one to become a Certified Phenomenal Touch Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, or Master Practitioner.

This Program enables students to learn the 75 principles and 100 moves of PTM, expand their heart, and integrate a unique form of bodywork into their present massage. Students will not only deepen their massage skills but also learn a truly unique and reverent way of touching the body while expanding their heart at the same time.

This Practitioner Certification Program also includes other foundational modalities such as Watsu, Trager, Aikido, Communications and Working with Emotions that arise in a massage. The various modalities are woven together in a magnificent tapestry rich with reverence and love that allows one to not only become the most phenomenal practitioner possible but a better person to boot.

This is not simply a learning opportunity—it is a potentially life-changing experience!

Graduates will receive 200 Continuing Education Hours (CE hours) that may be applied to their AMTA, National Certification or licensing requirements.

Week Long Retreat

The week long retreat in the art of phenomenal touch has a total of twenty hours of class time, four hours a day, along with other elements of healing such as yoga, dance, chanting, ecstatic singing, and time for yourself. I offer such retreats in Mexico (See section entitled Massage in the Tropics) or locally in Colorado, or in your home town.

Cost

$1,249 for Mexico Retreat including food and lodging (airfare not included). $900 for food and lodging and optional morning ritual without the massage class. Please see Massage in the Tropics page for further details.

Price of Colorado retreat including lodging to be announced depending upon where it is held and the cost of the lodging and food.

Individual Massage Session

A good way to understand what it is that I teach is to experience an individual massage session for yourself! This is not a lesson but an important precursor to taking lessons or classes so that you can feel first hand what it is that you will be learning.

Mentoring

I offer individual mentoring sessions in my magical studio in Eldorado Springs, Colorado. I can either work with you individually or with a colleague or partner.

When I work with you individually, I first work on you, teaching you the particular move or principle you are wanting to learn, then you try it on me.

When I work with you and a colleague or partner, I demo the moves or principles on one of you while the other watches, then you try the moves on the other person while I watch and help you. Then we switch places and the other person receives the same attention. You will also both have the opportunity to try moves on me as well in order for me to better help you to perfect what you are trying to learn.

Call Leslie at (303) 494-6204 to find out the schedule of upcoming classes and for more information about individual massage and mentoring sessions.
