Phenomenal Touch Level 2: Deepening

Level Two Phenomenal Touch® Massage builds on what was taught in Level One by adding an additional 45 new principles and moves. Principles such as Meet the Client, Cellular Listening, Invisibility, Coherence, Insinuation, Hooking On, Elongation, Creating Containment, The Internal Wave, Go Thru Not To, Magnification, Chasing Spaces, Bouncy Ball, Vertical Mining, Use S Curve to Sculpt, and Devour allow students to deeply meet their clients on levels beyond the norm. This second level of moves complement and fill in the signature ones to make a more complete and flowing massage with a deeper level of connection.  

We will also begin to explore the realm of intimacy and how to work with clients when feelings of sexuality inadvertently or advertently enter the session. 

Level Two is the second level towards becoming a Certified Phenomenal Touch® Practitioner. This class offers 40 hours (including 8 hours of homework) of Continuing Ed (CE) hours that could apply toward state, AMTA or National Certification requirements. 

Hours

32 Hours of credit. Deepening into Phenomenal Touch Massage Level Two meets for four 8-hour days totaling 32 class hours. 

Course Objectives:  

• Teach students 20 Phenomenal Touch Level Two Principles
• Demonstrate and Teach students 25 Phenomenal Touch Level Two Moves
• Differentiate between intimacy and sexuality and teach student’s ways to educate their clients in this
• Create greater comfort in student’s ability to speak about and address issues of sexuality that may arise with their clients in Phenomenal Touch Massage
• Foster competency in students to be able to add PT level 2 into their massage

Expected Learning Outcomes

Upon Successful completion of this course, students will demonstrate  

competency in the following:

• Accurately demonstrate the principles of PT Level Two and be able to apply them into their present massage
• Safely perform the moves of PT Level Two in such a way that they do no harm to themselves or their clients.
• Competently perform the moves and principles of Level Two
• Understand the clear difference between intimacy and sexuality and how to help educate client’s who are confused.
• Have a clear understanding that Phenomenal Touch Massage never includes sexual acts of any nature.  
• Be able to set clear boundaries around sexuality and intimacy with clients both in writing and verbally at the onset or during a session (if need be).
• Identify the injuries, pathologies or client limitations that would preclude certain aspects of Phenomenal Touch to be performed

A teaching DVD of Phenomenal Touch Level Two Moves is required and will be available by instructor for purchase at the class. The Phenomenal Touch® Massage Manual of Level Two Moves is strongly recommended and will be available by instructor for purchase as well. Price is reduced for Practitioner Students.
